BEKhealth is a leading clinical technology company that operates an AI-powered patient-matching software platform serving the clinical trial industry. Our platform accelerates patient matching to clinical trials and enhances trial feasibility, site selection, and patient recruitment by extracting structured and unstructured data from electronic medical records (EMRs) and automatically matches patients to trials. We specialize in providing software for patient population analysis, site feasibility and selection, study participant identification, and study participant matching to both site networks.

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software QA Engineer with 3+ years experience testing web applications and data pipelines. As a Software QA Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test suites for our Python-based applications and for our frontend web applications in JavaScript. You will also be responsible for manual testing of data pipeline processes and frontend applications when automated testing is not effective. You will be working on a variety of projects that require strong technical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of experience as a test engineer implementing tests in Python or JavaScript
• 3+ years of experience with relational databases including PostgreSQL
• Experience testing deployed applications in AWS

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable test suites and services that test applications processing large amounts of data in high performant scenarios
• Write high-quality, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Collaborate with the engineering team and external partners to gather requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs
• Identify and help troubleshoot performance issues, bottlenecks, and bugs in Python applications
• Perform root cause analysis on client reported bugs and provide engineering team the details required to fix problems
• Ensure that all applications are secure and follow best practices for data privacy and protection
• Mentor and guide junior developers to improve their technical skills and knowledge
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies in test driven development.
