Description:
The Musco Information Technology is seeking a Software QA Engineer to work from our Oskaloosa office. The Software QA Engineer is responsible for providing extensive front-end support for internal customers. They will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through rigorous testing and validation processes. This role involves working closely with the development team to identify defects and provide timely feedback to improve the overall user experience. Responsibilities:
- Provide extensive technical support for internal customers
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and technical specifications
- Perform manual application-level testing and verification of bug fixes/enhancements to the software
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and acceptance criteria
- Perform root cause analysis on identified defects and collaborate with developers to resolve issues
- Identify, document, and track software defects using issue-tracking software
- Communicate test progress, results, and any issues in a clear and timely manner
