In your role as Software Quality Assurance Analyst at Varian, a Siemens Healthineers company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our next generation cloud-based oncology-focused medical device software. Your role will involve testing, identifying defects, and collaborating with the team to deliver high-quality software solutions that directly impact patient care. As a member of our team in Nova Scotia, you will become part of a global leader in cancer care technology as we shape the future of oncology software with cutting-edge solutions that directly impact patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute test cases, create test data, identify defects, and verify fixes.
  • Collaborate with Developers, Testers, Product Managers, and other stakeholders to ensure software quality.
  • Help create scalable and efficient software testing processes.
  • Follow best practices and methodologies to maintain the highest standards of software quality, reliability, and performance.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

  • Experience in software quality assurance, including hands-on testing.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) and agile testing methodologies.
  • Passion for healthcare and a desire to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Note: This role will require the successful candidate to reside in Nova Scotia.
