As a Software Quality Specialist II here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. With your expertise in software testing and quality assurance, you will contribute to the success of our products and help us maintain our reputation for excellence.
You will report directly to our Quality Assurance Manager and you’ll work out of our Toronto, Canada location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact our organization by:

  • Developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products
  • Identifying and documenting software defects and working closely with development teams to resolve them
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, product managers, and customer support, to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions
  • Participating in design and code reviews to provide input on quality and testability aspects
  • Continuously improving our testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
