Description:
Overview:
The ideal candidate would be excited to provide data intelligence solutions to multiple companies in EMEA – this involves working in a positive, collaborative, team where travel is a highlight to the experience.
The erwin Data Intelligence Solution Strategist is a data management expert who is responsible for understanding client requirements in order to tailor a conversation/demonstration of the erwin Data Intelligence Suite that clearly articulates the value of the solution suite, while addressing the client’s data management needs. This position is responsible for achieving their agreed upon sales quota, while working closely with the assigned Enterprise Sales Executive(s) for their respective regions. Solution Strategists are responsible for maintaining a level of expertise in erwin Data Intelligence products and a sharp awareness of other solutions and capabilities competing in this data management arena; catalogs, glossaries, data modeling, data governance, data quality, and marketplace solutions. This position may be based remotely anywhere in the northern Europe.
This role is primarily to support the erwin EMEA sales team efforts by providing demonstrations and value attainment guidance for pre-sales and customers. This frequently includes organizations that are just starting their Data Intelligence program or perhaps have not been successful with competing catalogs and governance solutions. Awareness of enterprise solutions and how to drive data literacy throughout an organization is a plus. The primary stakeholders are typically a CDO, CDAO, Governance Director and anyone responsible for data within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Attend initial discovery calls with customers to understand their priorities and challenges
- Answer sales / customer / partner questions around the technical solutions and best practices
- Respond to business proposal requests and requests for information leading the recommendations
- Support proof of concept exercises of erwin solutions for customers
- Crafting and showcasing new business value use cases
- Working with existing erwin clients for to ensure they are getting the best out of the solutions
- Support partners in their learnings of erwin solutions
- Provide presentations to user groups and at trade shows relating to the erwin solutions and best practices
Qualifications:
- University degree in relevant subject matter
- 5+ years of Data Management Experience
- Data Management pre-sales support from a similar company in the industry (a very big plus)
- Data Design/Architecture Experience (a plus)
- Data and Analytics practitioner (a plus)
- Data/business analyst expert (a plus)
- Data Modeling experience (a plus)
