Description:

CLARK WILSON LLP IS HIRING A SOFTWARE SUPPORT 1

Reporting to the Director of Systems, the Software Support 1 person is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users for various software applications utilized within the Firm. Supporting MS Office products, Macros Templates, Email systems, Filesite (document management system), time entry software, and assisting in the rollout of new products. Involved in lab testing new software products to ensure their compatibility and functionality within the firm’s IT environment.

DOCUMENTATION AND KNOWLEDGE SHARING:

  • Maintain accurate documentation of software-related issues, resolutions, and frequently asked questions.
  • Contribute to the knowledge base by documenting troubleshooting procedures and best practices.
  • Share knowledge with other support team members and provide training when required.

Responsibilities:

OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED:

  • Assisting with user set up and troubleshooting myLTSA, BCeID, and DocuSign.
  • Assisting with updating and mainting the Firm Active Directory.

HOW YOU’LL BE A GREAT FIT FOR THIS ROLE

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and their troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with document management systems, such as Filesite or similar platforms.
  • Experience in supporting time entry software would be beneficial.
  • Ability to assist in the rollout of new software applications and conduct user training.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Post-Secondary education in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven software support experience or familiarity with legal services, e.g., as a Legal Administrative Assistant.
