POSITION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• Understand and analyze logs of complex systems
• Collaborate with other development teams to complete projects and solve issues
• Troubleshoot and debug system applications
• Evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update, and add new features
• Write high-quality source code

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 8 years experience in a Software Engineer role
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent
• Substantial knowledge in OOP Concepts
• Substantial knowledge in C++ and/or JAVA
• Possess exemplary analytical skills
• Keen to details
• Responsible, reliable, and a team player
• Strong communication skills to confidently explain information and converse with colleagues
• Organizational skills to effectively create and maintain tasks, reports, and documents

Preferred Qualifications

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge in MS Excel
• Experience with AGILE (Scrum / Kanban)
• Experience with Source Code Control (e.g. SVN)
• Experience with Defect Monitoring Tools (e.g. JIRA)
• Knowledge in scripting
• Project Management experience
