Overview:
Waters Brasov are seeking a Software Test Automation Engineer to join their team on a FTC 12 month period!
This is a great opportunity to come and join our biggest site which is solely dedicated to software engineering and development.
The role is focused on Automated Testing where you will play a key role in developing automated tests to ensure the quality of software which makes a real impact to peoples lives whether its developing tests and vaccines; helping scientists detect cancer; ensuring food safety or helping scientists develop biodegradable plastics.

Responsibilities:
As Automated Testing Engineer you would be part of the Waters Informatics group producing software that is used by people worldwide for specialist measurement and scientific analysis. Your main responsibilities would include:
- Write automated tests at various levels
- Keep tests in a green state
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gain knowledge about product requirements and work with user stories, product backlog refinement and the writing of acceptance tests.
- Contributing in filling gaps and resolving confusion in development requirements.
- Contribute to keep code and tests up to date with tools and technology, helping the team complete their work up to release phase
- Being proactive and take the initiative in their area of responsibility, including personal growth
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of the team and be proactive in adopting team-level changes.
Qualifications:
- You have Software Programming/Evaluation experience and basic experience in applying technical standards
- You have a good understanding of Object-Oriented languages (C#, JavaScript, WPF) and Automated Testing Environments (VS test framework, SpecFlow, Cucumber, White, TestComplete, or others)
- You are familiar with GitHub and GitHub Actions
- You are using effciently your communication, teamwork, analysis and decision making skills and you are familiar with Agile methodologies.
- You are fluent in English - speaking, reading, writing - Medium to Advanced Level
