POSITION OVERVIEW

Looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team and help out with QA and testing. We have a great group of developers that need your help making sure our software is rock solid and bullet proof. This position will involve manually testing our software and building out a suite of tools for automated testing and release. You will be a core team member working directly with developers and customers to ensure a high quality product.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education in Software Engineering or Computer Science
  • Proficiency in analyzing requirements, designing test cases, and executing tests
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
  • Experience and comfort working with Linux
  • Experience with one or more of Python, Angular JS, TS, C, C++, Java
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL or other SQL databases
  • Enthusiasm for working with a team on a common goal
  • Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium or similar frameworks

  • Experience with Networking
  • Experience with Hardware (servers, switches, wiring)
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $40,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Work with product management to understand requirements, and with developers to ensure the requirements are met
  • Own the software product testing lifecycle and execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)
  • Develop and execute test plans and test cases for software applications
  • Conduct automated and manual testing
  • Perform regression testing to ensure software quality and stability
  • Analyze test results and provide feedback to the development team
  • Utilize tools such as Jenkins for continuous integration and DevOps practices
  • Evaluate user interfaces (UI) for consistency and functionality
  • Work closely with developers to reproduce, debug, and resolve issues
  • Provide customer support and documentation
