Therefore, we are currently looking for a Software test engineer to become part of this journey and contribute to our overall purpose – securing people through advanced technology.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a candidate with solid experience in test automation and testing activities in software development, with an understanding of what to test, where, and when, and how tools can support this. Documented knowledge of testing with agile development methods (Scrum) as well as more project-oriented processes is essential, along with an understanding of the values created by Continuous Integration and Delivery. Most importantly, the ideal candidate will have a real passion for testing.
Additionally, we expect you to be passionate about your work, actively follow through on tasks, and thrive in a complex and highly specialized environment. You should be capable of devising ways to improve processes, supporting the team, and taking pride in communicating and acting proactively with teammates and stakeholders. Strong organizational skills and excellent articulation in writing and speaking, at a minimum in English, preferably also in Danish, are essential.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Test automation frameworks and tools
  • Extensive experience with Python
  • Solid experience with testing activities in software development.
  • Understanding of agile development methods (Scrum) and project-oriented processes.
  • Certification in software testing principles (ISTQB, TMAP, or similar).
  • Ability to work in a complex, specialized environment.
  • Strong communication skills in English and preferably Danish.
  • Ability to improve processes and support team efforts proactively.

Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will cover a wide range of testing activities to ensure the quality and reliability of our software solutions with primary focus on test automation framework:

  • Design, develop and maintain automated tests to increase testing efficiency and coverage
  • Integration of automated tests with the CI-CD pipeline
  • Manual Testing: Perform hands-on manual testing to identify defects, verify fixes, and ensure that the software meets the required standards and specifications.
  • Contributing to a Test Community of Practice: Engage with other test enthusiasts to share knowledge, best practices, and continuously improve testing methodologies and processes.
  • Continuously Improving Ways of Working: Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of testing activities.
