Job Description
- Planning and execution of tests to ensure the functional and technical performance of our software solutions in connection with our laboratory equipment
- Conducting and optimizing tests for the integration of hardware and software to ensure seamless interaction between laboratory equipment and software
- Responsibility for task and test management, including planning and documenting test cases, and coordinating further tests by application experts (e.g., our laboratory)
- Close collaboration with development teams to analyze test results, identify bugs, and define corrective actions
- Point of contact for reported issues from internal departments (e.g., customer service); recording and prioritizing problems and coordinating solutions with developers
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of software quality through feedback and suggestions for enhancements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Completed apprenticeship as an IT specialist or a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in software testing, preferably in the integration of hardware and software
- Experience with laboratory equipment is an advantage
- Experience with Azure DevOps for task and test management is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of software development, ideally in the Microsoft .NET environment, is an advantage
- Analytical thinking skills
- Structured and solution-oriented working approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Very good spoken and written English skills
