The Role:
We need a Software Tester who’s skilled in both manual and automation testing.
The successful candidate will be mainly responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our mobile app.
This role will primarily focus on testing our mobile application to deliver a seamless and robust user experience and you have to work on our client portal as well. Good communication skills are essential, as you’ll be working closely with our developers, testers, and product owners.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand the requirements and functionalities of the mobile app/ client portal.
Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases specifically for mobile app functionalities.
Perform thorough manual testing of the mobile app on various devices and operating systems (iOS and Android) to ensure compatibility and functionality.
Create and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Appium to streamline regression and smoke testing processes.
Conduct usability and exploratory testing to identify potential user experience issues and suggest improvements.
Identify, document, and track defects using Jira, ensuring all issues are resolved before the release.
Bug testing of both mobile app and web client portal.
Provide detailed test reports and summaries to stakeholders, highlighting test coverage, defects, and overall app quality.
Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in mobile app testing and incorporate them into the testing process.
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 5 years of experience in mobile app testing, with a strong background in both manual and automated testing.
Hands-on experience with various mobile devices and operating systems, including iOS and Android.
Proficient in using testing tools such as Appium, Playwright, and Jira. Familiarity with CI/CD tools is a plus.
Minimum masters degree in information and technology or equivalent qualification.

Mandatory certifications for the position,

• Certified Cloud Tester Foundation (CCTF)
• Certified Cloud Tester Advanced (CCTA)
