JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Software Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through rigorous testing processes. You will work closely with developers and product managers throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to identify issues, propose solutions, and validate that software meets both functional and non-functional requirements.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in software quality assurance with a strong understanding of the SDLC.
• Proficiency in using Visual Studio for test automation and management.
• Strong data analysis skills to interpret complex datasets effectively.
• Familiarity with user acceptance testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience in mobile testing is a plus but not mandatory.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to vaticinate potential issues before they arise.

  Pay: $53.00 - $60.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• SQL: 1 year (Preferred)
• Selenium: 1 year (Preferred)
• Test automation: 1 year (Preferred)

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications.
• Conduct software quality assurance activities including functional, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Utilize SQL for data validation and analysis to ensure data integrity across applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues and provide technical support as needed.
• Perform mobile testing to ensure optimal performance across various devices and platforms.
• Analyze test results to identify trends, defects, and areas for improvement.
• Document findings clearly and communicate effectively with stakeholders to facilitate resolution of identified issues.
• Work with XML data formats as required for specific testing scenarios.
