WE ARE LOOKING FOR A SOLAR ROOFING SITE MANAGER!

Salary: £40,000 PLUS bonus potential
Location: Wales & South West England
(Travel required with potential for up to 3 nights away per week)
Work days: Monday to Friday
Other: Accommodation arranged & paid
Transport: Company vehicle and fuel card provided

REQUIRED SKILL SET:

• Proven experience in Solar PV installations, including expertise in battery systems.
• Solid background in roofing, with hands-on experience relevant to the role.
• Previous experience in a management position is preferred.
• Strong ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team to achieve their best performance.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Skilled in addressing challenges and devising practical solutions.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and high standards.
• Competent in using IT systems and tools relevant to the role.

ABOUT THIS ROLE:

We are seeking a Site Manager to join our award-winning Solar department. As a Site Manager, you will be an integral part of our highly motivated and driven team, overseeing the quality and efficiency of Solar PV installations across Wales and South West England. In your role as Solar Roofing Site Manager, you will supervise live installations, provide technical support, and ensure compliance with health and safety protocols. Your focus will be on achieving the highest standards of quality and efficiency for every installation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide excellent service to our customers.
• Assist new installation teams during their onboarding phase by setting clear goals and objectives, and providing guidance to ensure their success.
• Attend meetings, coordinate work schedules, and provide daily feedback reports to keep all team members informed and aligned.
• Monitor adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations to maintain high standards.
• Work closely with other departments to synchronise workflows and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise.
• Lead regular team meetings to communicate updates, share information, and address any concerns or questions.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement strategies to boost productivity and efficiency.
• Uphold health and safety procedures, recording findings and ensuring safe practices are followed on-site.
