Description:
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic local Singapore graduates with ITE & Diploma certifications to join our team as Solar Site Engineer. The ideal candidate should be willing to work under harsh conditions at project sites and possess a strong interest in renewable energy, particularly solar power systems.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Experience with solar PV system installation or maintenance (internships or academic projects are acceptable).
- Familiarity with electrical drawings
- Basic knowledge of electrical safety standards and practices.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for site assessment and installation.
Working Conditions :
- Primarily outdoor work at various project sites.
- Exposure to varying weather conditions and potentially challenging environments.
- Occasional weekend or evening work may be required to meet project deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Site Assessment and Preparation
- Assist in the evaluation and preparation of project sites for solar installations.
- Conduct site surveys and collect data necessary for the design and installation of solar systems.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure all site conditions and requirements are met.
- Installation and Commissioning:
- Support the installation, commissioning, and testing of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.
- Work with PM to ensure installations comply with design specifications and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during installation
- Maintenance and Support:
- Perform regular maintenance checks on installed solar systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in diagnosing and repairing any faults or issues with the solar equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, including installation progress, maintenance schedules, and any issues encountered.
- Prepare and submit reports to senior engineers and project managers
- Collaboration and Communication :
- Work closely with other team members, including electricians, technicians, and project managers.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
