JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a skilled Solder Tech SMT to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing surface mount technology (SMT) soldering and rework on printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) in accordance with IPC-A-610 standards. The Solder Tech SMT will work with a variety of electronic components, including fine pitch and leadless devices, and will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of the finished product.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 4+ years of Electronic Assembly experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in SMT soldering and rework
• Experience working with fine pitch and leadless devices
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and schematics
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

• Perform SMT soldering and rework on PCBAs
• Work with a variety of electronic components, including fine pitch and leadless devices
• Ensure the quality and reliability of the finished product
• Follow IPC-A-610 standards for soldering and rework
• Perform visual inspections of PCBAs to identify defects and ensure compliance with quality standards
• Document work performed and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
