Description:
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Candidate must be an Australian Citizen
- Completion of a law degree from an accredited law school or completion of the Legal Practitioners Admission Board’s Diploma in Law Course.
- Admission or eligibility for admission as a legal practitioner in NSW.
- Highly developed legal skills and extensive experience which enable provision of advice and representation in highly complex legal matters in areas of law in which the Public Interest & Protection Practice Group specialises.
- Undertake a security clearance assessment, Criminal Record Check and Working with Children Check.
- Travel for regional or interstate court and other commitments subject to the application of any discrimination legislation (including in respect of carer’s responsibilities).
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Solicitor Advocate (Legal Officer Grade VI), you will provide professional and cost-effective legal services, contributing to the CSO’s business goals. Your role will involve delivering high-quality advocacy, preparing legal advice, and ensuring compliance with panel requirements and CSO practice management standards. Additionally, you will contribute to the CSO’s business development efforts and continuously enhance your legal knowledge and skills through professional development opportunities.
