Description:

THE VACANCY

We currently have an opportunity for a Solicitor/ Associate to join our Property Disputes team.
Our Property Disputes team specialise purely in real estate disputes, acting for both residential and large commercial clients.
We would be looking for someone to consistently deliver a high standard of legal advice to clients in a commercially astute manner and to deliver outstanding client service at all times. They would also need to assist with the marketing of the department’s services and undertaking business development activities to build on the firm and team’s reputation for excellence.

Duties will include:

  • Manage a mixed caseload of residential disputes and commercial disputes, whilst also from time to time assisting Partners on other matters which may be more complex.
  • Build credibility with clients and develop own client relationships through managing client expectations regarding options, outcomes, risk and timescales
  • Take responsibility for managing aspects of projects that are delegated and meet deadlines
  • Support juniors in the team by giving technical, business and general advices
  • Support with budgetary management of client matters

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES

  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive 4+PQE
  • Previous experience within general property litigation.
  • Exposure or interest in specialisms such as service charge disputes, TOLATA claims or property related professional negligence is very desirable
  • Ability to manage own files and delegate work to others
  • Strong client management skills with a focus on delivery of excellent client service
  • Keen interest in business development and marketing
