JOB TYPE: PERMANENT, FULL-TIME
Lester Aldridge have an exciting opportunity for an experienced lawyer with 3 to 5 years PQE to join our busy Marine team in the Southampton office. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients in the Leisure Marine and Commercial Shipping sectors. The ideal lawyer should have a particular focus on Yachts and Superyachts but other related experience will be considered.
In this role, you will be responsible for handling various matters related to yachts/superyachts, and commercial shipping and related matters. Additionally, you will work with a diverse client base, including marine insurers, vessel owners, operators, dealers and managers, shipyards and ports, harbours and marinas. This is a dynamic, client-facing role which includes travel opportunities and a chance for the right candidate to really carve a niche for themselves within this exciting industry as part of a growing team.
You will either have gained litigation and/or transactional experience in this area, or have more general legal experience but hold a strong interest of the marine industry, with a proven track record, and will have excellent technical knowledge, communication, organisational and IT skills.
