Job Introduction Solicitor (Commercial Litigation - Construction)
Join us as a newly qualified Solicitor and become the key client contact for an exciting range of projects in construction, engineering, and professional indemnity claims. You’ll manage a diverse workload, seize business development opportunities and shine in marketing activities and client presentations. This dynamic role offers the perfect blend of client interaction, professional growth, and teamwork, all while handling confidential data with integrity. Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied workload with confidence, acting as a key client contact while showcasing your expertise and delivering exceptional results.
- Exercise full compliance with DAC Beachcroft protocols on billing and credit control and demonstrate a high level of financial management in respect of own files
- Actively identify and capitalise on business development opportunities and marketing activity for team clients and own contacts.
- Aim to achieve a minimum budgeted annual target of 1440 chargeable hours per year
- Participate in and initiate marketing / network activities in order to maintain and develop work from existing and potential clients.
- Present and assist in client and other external seminars, partaking in pitches and contributing positively to business development.
- Maintain and develop technical knowledge through leading and attending training sessions, reading appropriate publications and exceeding Law Society CPD requirements.
- Handle confidential data in line with the firm’s data security protocols.
