What you’ll be doing…
This is a unique opportunity to work in a challenging but rewarding role. With processes and procedures fully embedded in the business, including a suite of precedent contracts, and a playbook, you will work closely with senior managers and directors on a variety of commercial and legal work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborating with senior managers and directors on commercial and legal matters in a fast-paced environment.
Acting as the main legal contact for the purchasing team and support functions (HR, Finance, IT, Sales, etc.).
Ensuring contracts are legally sound, aligned with company policies, and in place before the supply of goods/services.
Leading or assisting in contract negotiations and re-negotiations with clients, involving relevant support functions.
Supporting the development and delivery of training within the Legal team and the wider business.
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday - hybrid working
What can you bring?

THE EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

3/4 + years PQE
Experience in a well-known/national law firm or established in-house legal team preferred
Experience of dealing with commercial contracts
Proven drafting and negotiation skills, particularly around commercial matters
Committed, driven, able to work autonomously (where appropriate) as well as working closely as part of a collaborative team and with some initiative
