THE ROLE

We have an opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor based in our Lerwick office. The work would involve all aspects of private client work with a particular focus on wills and powers of attorney, lifetime trusts and will trusts, and the drafting and administration of these. You will also be involved in meeting clients and advising on executry administration. STEP qualification would be desirable but not a necessity.

YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Meeting clients and advising on wills and powers of attorney, drafting these and arranging for execution of these documents
• Providing succession, asset protection and tax planning advice
• Executry administration
• Participating in business development initiatives
• Supporting Knowledge Management
• Managing and supervising junior fee earners
