Responsibilities:
- Key Enterprise Architecture questions are identified early and resolved with support from the AMP Enterprise Architecture team.
- The role also includes project governance to ensure alignment to agreed enterprise architecture strategy.
- Consulting to Project Managers, IT Managers, and their teams in the development of key business solutions and technical architecture deliverables.
- Assist in the creation and development of enterprise roadmaps, including documenting target architectures and strategies, and ensuring alignment with and enablement of business strategy.
- High Level Solution Architecture that complies with AMP architecture standards
- Lead Architecture Compliance Reviews and document all findings including exemptions and supporting arguments.
- Represent architecture and issues during development and decision points of the project, including representation on Project and Review Committees
- Lead the development of Architecture Impact Assessment, Architecture Definition and Architecture Compliance Review documents, to ensure business and non-functional requirements are addressed and all stakeholders are engaged.
- Identify and reconcile conflicting concerns of different stakeholders and identify and quantify the trade-offs.
- Ensuring the integrity of the architecture, satisfactorily identifying, and reconciling any conflicting concerns of different stakeholders, and showing the trade-offs made in so doing.
- Manage the solution definition process ensuring the completeness (fitness-for-purpose) of business application architecture blueprints and specifications, in terms of adequately addressing business and system requirements, and any corresponding concerns of the applications’ business sponsors, user groups and stakeholders
- Liaise with business and technical stream leads to communicate solution architecture and to manage the process of changes and issue resolution.
- Provide an understanding across the AMP landscape including areas such as financial services trends e.g., robo-advice and technology trends e.g., cloud computing.
- Contribute to the development of IT@AMP’s architectural practices, techniques, and tools
