To continue this digitalization, we are looking for a Senior Solution Architect to join our dynamic team in Latin America to help build scalable, cutting-edge technologies for today and tomorrow. This position is part of a global network with a predominance of interaction with North America that uses deep technical skills to create and improve software applications that help the Coca-Cola Company grow and be more productive. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience working as a Solution Architect or 7+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • Proven experience in designing solutions that incorporate object-oriented architecture, event-driven architecture, or hybrid cloud environments.
  • Deep understanding of design patterns and their application in real-world scenarios.
  • Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Proficiency in any programming language, with a strong emphasis on the ability to understand and adapt to various programming paradigms.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (such as ReactJS) to provide architectural guidance, although hands-on development experience is a plus but not required.
  • Expertise in designing and integrating REST APIs and web services within complex architectures.
  • Experience with databases, both SQL (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB, CosmosDB).
  • Effective communication skills in both Spanish and English (oral and written).
  • Ability to connect and communicate beyond technical jargon, facilitating clear and effective dialogue with stakeholders.
  • Experience in negotiating and influencing solutions, demonstrating strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large-scale technology projects.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Familiarity with TOGAF or similar frameworks.
  • Knowledge of DevOps best practices and CI/CD tools.
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms (especially Azure and AWS).
  • Expertise in designing secure architectures, including knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in Agile methodology.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect).
  • Experience in multinational, distributed teams.
  • Proficiency with architectural tools and frameworks.
  • Experience in production support and SLA management.
  • Knowledge of marketing or e-commerce domains.
  • Experience in risk management, including identification, assessment, and mitigation of technical and business risks.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to innovate by identifying and evaluating new technologies.
  • Experience in defining and maintaining architectural principles, standards, and policies.
  • Strong experience in integrating legacy systems with new technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Help drive architectural design and vision for the team and the platform.
  • Lead from the front lines to define, design, and implement high-quality solutions, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and best practices.
  • Mentor and develop younger team members.
  • Oversee the design, development, testing, documentation, deployment, and monitoring of solutions, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to architectural principles.
  • Provide architectural guidance and support for production issues, ensuring that developers address short-term and long-term resolutions regarding the Coca-Cola Service Level Agreement but do not directly handle operational tasks.
  • Participate in a scrum team to provide architectural input and ensure the delivery of incremental high-quality code to production.
  • Connect with other teams to integrate products, ensuring architectural consistency and reuse of global and local components.
  • Provide visibility over plans and status to multiple stakeholders (IT), focusing on architectural perspectives and strategic alignment.
