The department brings together Agriculture & Biosecurity; Forestry & Fishing; Local Land Services; NSW Resources; Regional Development & Delivery; the Regional Growth NSW Development Corporation; NSW Public Works and Soil Conservation Service.
We have nearly 5,000 employees, with almost 80 per cent of us living and working in regional NSW.

Responsibilities:

The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development are seeking a skilled Solution Architect to join their ICT team and be at the forefront of our enterprise’s technological evolution. Your role will be crucial in mapping business requirements to cutting-edge solutions, ensuring alignment with our enterprise architectural plan. In this role you will:

  • Design tailored solutions that meet business needs and customer expectations
  • Develop proof-of-concepts to validate solution feasibility
  • Identify project risks and provide strategic alternatives
  • Ensure solutions integrate seamlessly with existing systems and policies
  • Enhance productivity, reduce ICT costs, and simplify business operations
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of technology investments and enterprise architecture
