YOUR TEAM

The Technology & Operations division designs and integrates a wide range of IT solutions, from portfolio management systems to trading platforms, banking applications and business management tools. The division is responsible for some of the Group’s most important innovations, as well as the smooth running of operations and the development of custodian bank and fund administration services.
You will join the Core Servicing platform, which is responsible for providing and maintaining IT solutions for the Pictet Group in the Tax, Client Register, Corpac, Fees and Funds domains.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team. As an IT Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative technology solutions that align with our business objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, system engineers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our clients’ needs. REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 10 years’ experience as an IT Solutions Architect or in a similar position. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT solutions in a collaborative environment.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in IT architecture (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
  • French and English, spoken and written.
  • Residence in Switzerland.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Proficiency in system architecture design, including software applications, databases, cloud platforms, and network infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile or DevOps.
  • Expertise in enterprise integration patterns and technologies, including APIs, microservices, and messaging systems.
  • Knowledge of security principles and best practices in designing secure IT solutions.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and blockchain.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Solution design: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into robust and scalable IT solutions. Design end-to-end architectures that encompass software applications, infrastructure, data, and security components.
  • Technical leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the software development lifecycle. Work closely with development teams to ensure adherence to architectural standards, best practices, and industry trends. Conduct code reviews and offer recommendations for improvement.
  • System integration: Identify integration points and design interfaces between various systems and applications. Develop integration strategies to enable seamless data flow and interoperability across different platforms.
  • Solution implementation: Oversee the implementation of IT solutions, ensuring they are delivered within scope, budget, and timeline. Collaborate with project managers to define project plans, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Stakeholder collaboration: Engage with business stakeholders, including executives, managers, and end-users, to understand their needs and align technology solutions accordingly. Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Technology evaluation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to IT architecture. Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and platforms to determine their suitability for our organisation’s needs. Make recommendations for technology adoption or enhancement.
  • Documentation and standards: Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including solution blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications. Establish and enforce architectural standards, ensuring consistency and adherence to industry best practices.
