The Position

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical discipline with 5-12 years of professional IT experience in a major, global organization
  • At least 3 years of experience in at least two IT disciplines in a client/server or service-oriented architecture
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry would be considered an asset
  • Experience in a product development domain would be beneficial
  • Knowledge about Snowflake/data concepts/data products would be considered an asset
  • Experience with SAFe or any other lean-agile framework would be considered an asset
  • Strong communication skills
  • Negotiation skills, long-term and strategic thinking without losing the actual needs
  • Teamwork and fast integration into bigger teams
  • Experience in working in a multicultural and international environment
  • Advanced English skills
    We work in a flexible hybrid model. This role can be based in Warsaw/Poznan (Poland), Mississauga (Canada), or Madrid (Spain).

Responsibilities:

  • Design solutions according to enterprise standards
  • Conduct an architecture review of currently existing solutions to ensure continuous improvement
  • Research, evaluate, and create proof of concepts to adopt new technologies
  • Design non-functional requirements and implementation review to identify gaps between design and code
  • Keep up to date on new industry and emerging technologies which can provide advantages and groundbreaking innovations & benefit the business
  • Drive the identification of the most appropriate solution for Roche through formal RFI/RFP/RFQ (Request for Information/Proposal/Quotation) processes
  • Evaluate the feasibility of potential solutions in collaboration with business users and Subject Matter Experts
  • Seek opportunities to create additional value and improve business processes
  • Architect, build, maintain, and operate enterprise-grade systems/applications
