REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 7+ years of professional experience in software development, cloud architecture, or site reliability engineering.
  • At least 4 years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), focusing on designing and managing large-scale, cloud-native architectures.
  • Proven expertise in Site Reliability Engineering, including experience with designing observability solutions, monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Prometheus, and incident management.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, Java, or similar, with a deep understanding of systems architecture and cloud-native development.
  • Experience leading platform migration initiatives, specifically transitioning from legacy to modern observability solutions using tools like Dynatrace.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
  • Proven ability to engage directly with clients and internal customers to provide tailored cloud solutions that meet their specific needs.
  • Highest level of English proficiency, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and driving innovation.

Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a Solution Architect, you will play a critical role in delivering advanced Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) solutions for a leading Automotive OEM within a Google Cloud environment. This role focuses on designing the next-generation observability architecture, leading the migration from legacy platforms to modern observability solutions, and implementing improvements directly within the Google Cloud platform. You will leverage your expertise in SRE, Google Cloud, and observability tools like Dynatrace to drive the success of our client’s initiatives, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. Reporting to the Service Area Lead within Solution Engineering, this role is primarily focused on client engagement, technical leadership, and hands-on implementation, with a mix of billable client work and strategic internal contributions.
