Responsibilities:
SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Do you have strong business-process knowledge in operations, Supply chain and ERP systems? Exciting opportunities await you! We are currently seeking a new team member to our global ERP-team as Solution Architect within logistic processes.
You will be an integral part of a global team of 38 dedicated and proficient solution architects and experts responsible for development, deployment, and operation of our global ERP system (IFS).
We are in the middle of a large upgrade project of our existing ERP-solution (To IFS Cloud), and we will be on the latest and most modern ERP platforms available when this project is completed. The solution architect will work closely with users, vendors, and the rest of the ERP-team to ensure that Jotun has the most up to date and efficient ERP system.
The position will be based at our Headquarters in Sandefjord and reporting to Group IT Matrix Manager - Logistic processes. Some travelling must be expected.
Your tasks will be:
- Evaluate and initiate process and solution improvements by extended utilization of IFS functionality to improve business process efficiency.
- Work closely with business units and Group functions for process and solution improvements.
- Manage or participate in global and cross-functional improvement projects.
- Conduct training for relevant stakeholders to ensure implementation of new functionality and optimal utilization of the Matrix solution.
- Handle and resolve support-cases reported in caretaker by applying specialist skills to correct errors, assist users and improve processes.
