Description:

DESIRED SKILLS

  • Proficient in modern web application architectures, with a strong emphasis on API integration
  • Extensive experience in both frontend (React) and backend system architecture in embedded Linux environment
  • Experience in UI / UX design with collaborative tools (Figma)
  • Proven ability to design and implement efficient deployment pipelines aligned with various release models
  • Expert knowledge of CI/CD automation tooling with Gitlab/Jenkins and verification using Robot Framework
  • Suitable experience or proof of successes in a business-related technology sector, e.g. enforcement systems development, measurement components, optics, roadside equipment, vehicular technology.
  • Understanding of system and platform architectures in hardware and software
  • Intercultural competence and communication skills within an international environment e.g. proven by international experience, multi-national teams etc.
  • A plus is any of: Experience in Sensor technology (RADAR; LIDAR) / Optics / International projects / vehicular technology / technical compliance; System Engineering know-how
  • General Office toolchain: Microsoft 365, MS Teams; Atlassian Jira & Confluence; Meisterplan;Suitable further education qualification in Science / Engineering

Responsibilities:

  • Define solution architecture with focus on HMI, considering usability, compatibility to our product portfolio and the UI / UX design.
  • Create work packages and scope for new releases in accordance to roadmap; management of release cadences in alignment with software and product teams.
  • Specify expected deliverables with 3rd party vendors and review delivered work results.
  • Technical lead of project teams and product implementation in alignment with project management.
  • Provide expert advice and assistance on technical problems relating to the modification of products and equipment to improve specifications and performance.
  • Evaluate of new technologies and 3rd party solutions in agreement with research and innovation team.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge and deep understanding of architectural compliance requirements, including security, performance, and technology standards.
  • Support product strategy activities as well as maintaining of a technical portfolio roadmap.
  • Patents and idea assessment (corporate internal and 3rd party).
