Description:

As an Education Azure Solution Sales Specialist - Apps and Infra, your primary role is to drive the adoption and sales of Azure solutions within the education sector. You will be responsible for identifying and engaging with educational institutions, understanding their unique needs, and providing tailored Azure solutions that enhance their digital capabilities. Your goal is to help these institutions leverage Azure’s infrastructure and applications to improve their operational efficiency, enhance learning experiences, and achieve their strategic objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or technical sales within the technology industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of Azure applications and infrastructure solutions, including cloud computing, virtualization, and networking.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and partners.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in sales or business development within the technology industry, with a focus on education sector clients.
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure and its ecosystem, including certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect or Azure Administrator.
  • Experience working with educational institutions and understanding their unique needs and challenges.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Passion for technology and innovation, with a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and drive Azure adoption in the education sector.
  • Client Engagement: Identify and engage with key decision-makers in educational institutions to understand their needs and present Azure solutions that address those needs.
  • Solution Presentation: Conduct presentations and demonstrations of Azure solutions, highlighting their benefits and how they can be integrated into the institution’s existing infrastructure.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and long-term commitment to Azure solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a cohesive approach to client engagement and solution delivery.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Reporting and Forecasting: Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and client feedback, and provide accurate sales forecasts to senior management.
  • Training and Development: Stay updated on the latest Azure solutions and industry trends, and continuously develop your knowledge and skills to effectively sell and support Azure solutions.
