Reporting to the Sr Manager, IT, Enterprise Applications, Procurement, the Solution Delivery Manager is a strong techno-functional resource that will work directly with Nutrien’s Procurement Team to ensure existing systems are maintained, opportunities identified for improvement, and will ensure projects move forward on time and within budget. The Solution Delivery Manager will need to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and will be responsible for coordinating work with IT team members, vendors, business stakeholders and other resources to establish and implement effective solutions to business problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Point of Contact/Liaison between IT and Procurement Partners and is an operational lead resource within IT Procurement Support Team
  • Build Understanding of Procurement and Fleet Management Business Processes and the technology that supports it
  • Translate Business needs to Functional & Technical requirements documentation
  • Collaborate with Procurement to prioritize backlogs for resolution & development along with our delivery partners including in-house and external managed services
  • Own and address business incidents from identification through resolution
  • Identify opportunities for improvement within business process and technology solutions related to the procurement domain
  • Collaboratively work with, provide direction to and support Managed Services supporting Procurement and Fleet Mangement applications
  • Understand, advocate, and support enterprise strategies
  • Collaboratively work with other teams to assess downstream impacts to procurement group
  • Serve as either a project manager (small initiatives) or technical lead to ensure business value is provided in a timely, cost-effective manner Champion Continuous improvement within IT Team
  • Understand emerging technologies and assess their potential use for meeting the business needs of Nutrien
  • Maintain technical knowledge of existing application roadmaps
  • Mentor others on the team
  • Assists in Stakeholder Communication
