Our opportunity
We have an opportunity for a Solution Engineer, Employee Platform to join our team on contract until 30 January 2026. You will be responsible for engineering solutions to maximise business value, platform useability and performance. Working within an agile team the Solution Engineer, Employee Platform will contribute to making Mirvac’s Employee platforms accessible, reusable, secure and modern so that it better enables products and outcomes and ensures a seamless employee experience.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop Microsoft 365 solutions tailored to meet user requirements
Provide technical expertise and guidance on Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint Online, Teams and Power Platform
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate them into technical solution designs
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Microsoft 365 services.
Engineering solutions that minimise technical debt and maximise release velocity.
Identify platform enhancements that will improve the user experience and enable a more accessible, stable, secure and supportable platform;
Active participation in user story refinement to sufficiently shape story outcomes and size;
Proactively voice blockers and barriers to progress or completion of user stories early;
Active participation in sprint reviews to showcase what’s been achieved in the sprint;
Maintain application governance to ensure systems and processes conform to external reporting and audit obligations
Create and maintain application documentation, including functional/technical specifications where required.
Actively contribute to the success of the team achieving quarterly OKRs (Objectives and Key Results).
Your point of difference
Relevant tertiary level qualifications with relevant technology/digital roles with extensive experience within the O365 platform focusing on SharePoint and Power Platform. Including understanding of HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, AngularJS, Angular Material, React, Telerik .NET Controls (Kendo UI), Rest API, Graph API experience. SQL Technologies. Experience in custom SharePoint solutions using SPFX. ShareGate experience desirable. Experience in agile delivery and Jira and Confluence platforms.
You will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to quality and attention to detail. You will have the ability to engage with business stakeholders, Digital teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure alignment and successful outcomes.
