Description:
Imagine a future where you’ll be part of a strong architecture and technology community and ensure a target architecture for SMARTplant ART.
Join us in this role where you’ll be working in the SMARTplant Agile Release Train (ART) where you’ll drive strategically important projects and act as a technical leader towards the teams. You’ll work in an agile setup within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). You’ll be anchored in IT but work in Bioenergy. Your primary location will be either in Gentofte or in Fredericia, but do expect to travel to our power plants located throughout Denmark on a regular basis.
Responsibilities:
YOU’LL PLAY AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN:
- mentoring and acting as a sparring partner across our five teams and leading a group of architects to design and develop a large application portfolio
- being the decision-maker and taking the lead on activities in the five teams, analysing, designing, and implementing secure and scalable solutions, aligning business requirements with IT capabilities through the assigned architects
- ensuring stable operations by planning ahead and pushing our cloud focus
- managing the overall architecture discipline in SMARTplant, ensuring that an updated strategic outlook, architectural runway, and relevant artifacts are communicated effectively
- advising and overseeing the implementation of architecture designs that are secure, reliable, maintainable, scalable, usable, and perform well
- working closely with the others in the ART leadership group as well as product owners, business stakeholders, architecture CoEs, and architects to incorporate company-wide architecture and clarify any challenges and obstacles.
TO SUCCEED IN THE ROLE, YOU:
- have experience in data migration strategies, tools, and best practices to ensure a smooth transition from our existing database used for planning in time series to the new planning system
- have knowledge of technological trends and experience in strategic planning and technical leadership across multiple teams
- have experience working within operational technology (OT)
- think strategically, have strong problem-solving skills, and are a natural leader
- are able to identify, compare, select, and implement technology solutions to meet current and future needs.
- are experienced in working with architectural artefacts, disciplines, and roadmaps.
Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
