As we continue supporting our customers within our Drives organisation, we are now seeking to add a Solution Sales Engineer to be based at our flagship offices in Holmestrand, Norway.
This role will include an expectation of occasional travel to customer sites as required.

BACKGROUND & SKILLS

To thrive as our new Solution Sales Engineer, we would expect you to demonstrate:

  • Either a degree qualification in Electrical Engineering, Automation or similar, or relevant experience in a similar technical engineering position
  • Demonstrable knowledge of electrical systems for marine, offshore, or similar applications
  • Ability to understand technical issues and turn technical information and data into value propositions for our key customers.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders is a must-have, alongside good commercial understanding.
  • Accurate and systematic way of working
  • Cooperative and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team set-up.
  • Willingness to learn new things and develop your skills.
  • Fluent communication in English, both written and spoken

Responsibilities:

As our new Solution Sales Engineer, key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting a portfolio of our key accounts and customers across Norway, most of whom sit within the marine and offshore sectors.
  • Going through specifications coming from our customers, designing and buying solutions from our sub-suppliers and cabinet builders
  • Together with our customers, will creating quotations, negotiating, and closing sales orders and projects.
  • Acting as our local representative to be able to assist with the execution of FAT on specific projects.
