REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 8+ years of experience in relevant fields.
• +5 years of previous experience working with Java, Kotlin, React, Next/JS, AWS.
• Each Solution Architect should be an expert in more than one Service Line within their respective Service Area.
• Highest level of English proficiency, both verbal and written.
• Ability to present ideas and information effectively to English-speaking stakeholders.
• Strong collaboration skills with sales, marketing, and delivery teams.
• Ability to earn credibility quickly with clients.
• Coaching and mentoring skills.
• Strong project management and risk management skills.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to client locations in the United States or Gorilla Logic offices in San Jose, Costa Rica or Medellin, Colombia as needed.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are seeking dynamic and experienced Solution Architects for each of our four Service Areas:
1.Cloud Engineering
2.Digital Product Development
3.Data & AI
4.Delivery Transformation
This individual contributor role will report to the Service Area Lead within the Solution Engineering organization and will be based in Colombia, Costa Rica, or the United States. The Solution Architect will serve as a technical sales lead, oversee technical delivery, and provide billable delivery contribution as a subject matter expert. This role involves 80% external (billable) efforts and 20% internal (non-billable) efforts annually, with key responsibilities outlined below.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client Engagement and Solution Design:

• Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and requirements.
• Develop and maintain technology roadmaps that align with business goals and support future business needs.
• Design comprehensive, scalable, and efficient solution options for clients.
• Create compelling, persuasive narratives in a client-ready format to propose solution options to clients.
• Assimilate client feedback to improve solution designs.
• Produce and maintain detailed documentation of solution designs, including diagrams of the solution architecture, integration points, and data flows.
