Your opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Architecture, this role will play a crucial role in harmonizing our business, application, data, security, and infrastructure architecture with our overarching strategy. In the interim, this role may report into the Global Head of Core Platforms (until EA joins JHI).

This individual will act as the Technology lead solution architect on a multi-year global transformation programme which will provide foundational changes to JHI technology and data capabilities.

  • Synthesise Business, Application, Data, Security, and Infrastructure Architectures to ensure alignment with the company’s strategy.
  • Serve as a conduit for shaping, educating, and ensuring adherence to the EA framework.
  • Simplify complex architectural concepts to promote understanding and value across the organisation.
  • Key contributor and influencer in transformative business changes through effective EA practices and solution design.
  • Advocate for a data-driven approach over opinion-based decisions.
  • Develop, implement, and promote Enterprise Architecture policies and standards.
  • Facilitate collaboration and guide the community of architects towards achieving architectural alignment and coherence.
  • Design multi-year business roadmaps to support business growth and navigate legacy to target architectures.
  • Keep teams aligned on vision, direction and scope as set by the Programme team
  • Ensure Agile and Project Management governance standards, best practices and required reviews are met.
  • Cultivate Team Spirit: Champion the development of a team culture that emphasizes collaboration, support, and a shared vision, making every member feel they are part of something bigger than themselves.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Must have skills

  • Robust and proven track record as a programme manager
  • Strong leader, equally comfortable facing off to Working and Steering Groups, challenging stakeholders, directing and motivating a cross-business team.
  • Strong Microsoft office skills including Teams, Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Aligned Project Certifications
  • Highly organised with excellent communication skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills – the ability to work across all levels of the organization
  • Experience of managing vendors and external partners
  • Background in asset management & experience in working on Operational Programmes with a focus on Middle and Back Office providers and services
  • A rolled-up sleeve positive and delivery focused approach
