Description:
The Solutions Architect - Emerging Solutions directly interfaces with our customer and partner network to deliver Workiva solutions that help achieve successful customer outcomes, with particular focus on Workiva’s emerging solutions - currently Carbon Accounting, Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) eporting & other Sustainability reporting.
This role is responsible for scaling our emerging solution to the wider Workiva organisation and is on the front line of challenging the status quo of how we at Workiva are successful in the solutions delivery. This role is for individuals who have a passion for continued learning, comfort in the unknown, and enjoy the scaling part of a Saas company’s growth.
Being the starting point for our newest solutions, the Solutions Architect - Emerging Solutions, works closely with other internal teams cross functionally including project management, customer success, support, solution engineering, and product development to deliver outstanding customer implementations across Europe.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the delivery of Workiva solutions contracted services to customers
- Lead the enablement and oversight of our expanding partner network
- Define/Scale delivery models for Workiva’s solutions
- Perform detailed discovery sessions to understand business needs and requirements
- Create a solution design that achieves outcomes within the Workiva platform
- Directly interface with customers and partners to define standardized solutions
- Maintain and enhance knowledge of financial, risk, or operational reporting using the Workiva platform through a commitment to ongoing training
- Participates in ongoing internal, partner and customer training efforts
- Work closely with our Product / Development teams to build out Workiva’s latest offerings
What You’ll Need
Minimum Qualifications
- Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field
- 4+ years of experience in service delivery role, finance, accounting, digital transformation, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Carbon Accounting or similar Analytics & Reporting platforms
- Be committed to learning new concepts, new regulations and industry best practices within a fast-paced, high-performance consulting environment
- Hands on experience within SaaS and cloud technologies, or data architectures preferred
- Experience working within a consulting or public accounting firm preferred
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to present topics clearly and succinctly
- Self-motivated with strong propensity for action, results and continuous improvement
- Ability to influence and drive change in business processes
- A strong individual contributor with intellectual curiosity to positively impact the ability to manage multiple services
- Enhanced technology knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and Google Workspace applications
- Familiarity with any of the following: SQL, JSON, REST, or Python is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to curate and maintain customer-first relationships
Travel Requirement & Working Conditions
- Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office
- Up to 20% travel for customer and internal meetings
