Description:

DESCRIPTION

The Solutions Consultant is responsible to train, guide and provide customers with SYSPRO product, and product related, support and ensure resolution of all issues as required. The Solutions Consultant is responsible to identify and resolve issues while maintaining SYSPRO standard procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Senior certificate or NQF 4 equivalent.
  • B.Com IT or equivalent IT Qualification
  • PPIM will be advantageous.
  • 1-2 years SYSPRO experience
  • SYSPRO LearnIT Qualifications advantageous
  • SYSPRO Certifications advantageous
  • BI and or SYSPRO Embedded Analytics experience advantageous

Knowledge

  • Minimum 2 years’ business process experience.
  • Minimum 2 years’ SYSPRO product experience.

Responsibilities:

  • The Solution Consultant assists the customer to ensure business relevant solutions are implemented and maintained and assists SYSPRO to achieve ALF retention and growth.
  • Provide support and or technical assistance related to the SYSPRO product.
  • Facilitate proof of concept and functional specification documentation.
  • Prepare quotations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SYSPRO, including server and SQL issues.
  • Monitor server resources and ensure optimal performance.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their issues and provide timely solutions.
  • Work closely with other IT team members and departments to resolve complex issues.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for troubleshooting procedures and system configurations.
  • Prepare reports on Technical Assessments and provide feedback to customers.
  • Analyze and identify the root cause of issues, recommending and implementing solutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest SYSPRO updates and industry trends to provide proactive support.
