Description:
A career as a Solutions Data Architect on the team responsible for Digital and Core Banking Services at National Bank means working on a digital transformation while closely collaborating with the various sectors at National Bank of Canada. This role allows you to have a positive impact on our organization, thanks to your in-depth expertise in data, Driven Design Domain (DDD) concepts, as well as your strong business acumen and excellent communication and influence skills.
Responsibilities:
- Solution architecture - Data
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive data architecture.
- Analyze and carry out profiling, design, modeling, and optimization of data as part of business projects based on DDD.
- Create data models, data flows, message templates (JSON), identify authoritative data sources, domain values, and ensure data integrity.
- Produce secure data solutions that comply with industry and legal standards.
- Data Strategy
- Collaborate closely with the Data Governance Office and the Data Owner in defining data strategies.
- Identify opportunities for data-driven innovation and improvement (such as the use of industry models and AI models allowing optimal exploitation of data)
- Recommend data technologies (SQL vs NoSQL, Data Mesh, etc.)
- Data Integration
- Design data integration solutions to connect data sources and identify data flows and required transformations
- Data Governance
- Contribute to the evolution of data governance policies, standards, and data best practices.
- Guarantee the quality, traceability of data and management of metadata.
- Leadership and Customer Engagement
- Act as a trusted advisor to data owners and data engineers in identifying data-related solutions.
- Lead and supervise a team of developers and data analysts throughout the project lifecycle to ensure data quality, integrity, and protection.
