Solutions Design IT Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Leads the creation of a comprehensive end-to-end detailed solution with overall accountability for the technical design and delivery of the System Design Specification (SDS) and is largely focused on large-scale, complex or enterprise projects. May also be accountable for complex programming / coding.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

• Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate, Graduate degree, preferred
• 7+ years relevant experience
• Highly skilled Java Developer with experience designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining Java enterprise applications, REST APIs, microservice design,
• Readiness and motivation to address and resolve highly complex and multifaceted development-related issues, often independently.
• Analytical and complex problem-solving abilities.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps, SQL, Mongo DB, Kafka, Git, Ant, Maven, Gradle, and XML development
• Experience with version control software, package managers, and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong understanding and experience with multi-threaded programming
• Banking and/or financial institution experience is an asset
