We’re hiring a Solutions Developer as part of our team in Manchester working on a hybrid basis.
Purpose of the Role
The Solutions Developer, Media Solutions will lead various projects covering data prep, script, tool and dashboard development as an embedded expert in dentsu digital media teams. They will identify project opportunities from collaborating with other team members and clients, and discussing their common challenges, alongside helping to run hackathon sessions. They will research and plan the best approaches, considering timelines, costs and ease of use. During execution, they will ensure proper documentation, smooth communication, effective error handling thorough code testing and correct use of tools like Google Cloud Platform and GitHub, with a focus on security. They will communicate confidently with stakeholders and share knowledge through presentations and case studies. .

Core Accountabilities
Proactively work with clients and other team members to spot opportunities for projects – this could be anything from enhancing audience data with additional data points to writing an automation script to turn on media campaigns based on weather triggers
Supporting in running hackathon sessions to understand the problems a team are facing that could be solved by automation
Researching the best way to build a solution, considering timelines, costs, ease of use, etc.
Executing the build of a solution, while ensuring:
Adequate documentation is written
Communication is smooth between all necessary stakeholders
Errors are handled effectively
Code is thoroughly tested before handing over the tool
Candidate Profile
Professional
Great communication skills and ability to communicate complex ideas
Strong attention to detail and highly organized
Ability to self-manage, working as part of the wider team
Believe in clean coding and simple solutions
Any knowledge of Performance Marketing specialisms, e.g. Paid Social, Paid Search, Organic Search, Programmatic (desired)
Technical
Experience with the following:
Python
JavaScript
Google Cloud Platform
BigQuery
Cloud Functions
Cloud Run
Cloud Scheduler
Cloud SQL
Rest APIs
Well versed in agile methodologies, git and version control best practices
Knowledge of Data Analysis processes and effectively drawing insights from data
