Description:
The Role
An opportunity has become available for several Sonographers / Radiographer Sonographers - Senior (Medical Imaging) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Perform independent real time ultrasound examinations with an emphasis on pathology recognition, diagnosis and documentation of relevant measurements and images
- Provide clinical practice supervision and education of staff and students within the Medical Imaging Ultrasound service
- Play an active role in the research and educational activities of the Medical Imaging Department
- Monitor, report and actively contribute to the development of quality improvement processes and service development
