DESCRIPTION

The AM Sorter sorts and separates freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet client delivery schedules. Driver’s license required. 4 points or less on current drivers abstract.
Hours of work: Monday - Friday 4:30AM - 10:00AM
Wage: $22.94 per hour. Top Rate is $29.23 as per collective agreement.
Location: 613 Adams Road, Kelowna BC

RESPONSIBILITIES

Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks
Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out
Loads freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer
Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items
Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery
Drivers license require. 4 points or less on current drivers abstract
