ABOUT THE POSITION:

RWDI is seeking an energetic and motivated individual to join our Source Testing team in Calgary, Alberta. The successful candidate will have 10 years working in the source emission testing field. As a Source Testing Senior, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional air quality testing and consulting services to clients across various industries. We need a professional who can not only execute source testing projects with precision but can also being innovative thinking and a passion for environmental protection.

We are accepting applications from candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Proven experience in source testing, including a strong understanding of environmental regulation, particularly in air quality
  • Ability to operate, calibrate and troubleshoot source testing equipment (e.g., FTIR, CEMS, EPA Methods).
  • Hands-on experience learning testing campaigns in various industrial settings

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Conduct stack emission testing and air quality assessments in compliance with federal, provincial and local regulations.
  • Lead and manage field teams during source testing projects, ensuring safety and data integrity.
  • Prepare and QA comprehensive emissions reports and interpret data related to environmental emissions.
  • Provide expert guidance to clients on regulatory requirements and emission control strategies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver innovative environmental solutions.
  • Maintain and calibrate source testing equipment, ensure accurate data collection.
  • Train and mentor junior team members to build capacity within the team.
  • Engage in continuous learning and development to stay at the forefront of industry trends and advancements.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by building strong client relationships and understanding their environmental needs.
  • Network with industry professionals and participate in relevant industry events, conferences, and forums to promote RWDI’s capabilities.

KEY SKILLS FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDE:

  • A collaborative mindset with a knack for leading teams in complex environments.
  • Ability to convey complex technical information clearly to clients and stakeholders.
  • Experience in all aspects of AENV / EPA source testing methodologies
  • Experience with CEMs and CEM RATA’s
  • Certifications such as QSTI or similar are highly valued.
