MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Basic knowledge of procurement, contract management, and accounting.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to analyze both qualitative and quantitative information from stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

The Sourcing Analyst at AvalonBay is responsible for supporting procurement initiatives, including supplier evaluation, contract creation and maintenance, price negotiation, and fostering strong vendor relationships. This role is essential in driving value for internal stakeholders by adhering to best practices in sourcing and procurement.
