JOB SUMMARY:

We’re looking for a Sourcing Coordinator who can provide additional support to our Sourcing Department. The ideal candidate will be able to assist with various tasks across our Import, Fabric, Fit & Spec and Quality Control teams.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • DEC in Fashion Design or Fashion Marketing (an asset);
  • 1-3 years of experience in Import/Production (apparel industry);
  • Detailed oriented, self-motivated;
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word);
  • Bilingual (English/French).
  • Having a good understanding of the garment/apparel industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate daily with suppliers overseas;
  • Follow up with designers for all approvals of trims & lab dips;
  • Follow up on fabric developments and maintain fabric log;
  • Forward and ensure receipt of purchase orders to vendors;
  • Maintain a status on incoming packages and samples;
  • Support Specialist by maintaining updated status reports.
