As the Sourcing Operations & Development Director you will play a key role in driving sourcing excellence to deliver a competitive advantage across the organization. This role is responsible for all global sourcing back-office operation in multiple location and to build and implement sourcing strategies that optimize value across the entire organisation, ensuring cost-effective, sustainable, and innovative sourcing solutions. This role can be based from any of our UK or France offices.

What’s the job?:

  • Develop and implement long-term sourcing strategies (3-year, 5-year plans) on multi footprint categories to deliver continuous cost reductions, support product development, and optimize the global value chain.
  • Create and implement a long term strategy to create the most efficient back office for the Global sourcing teams including (but not exclusive) systems, market intelligence, vendor communication, to enable sourcing teams to meet objectives, drive vendor management, and facilitate sourcing operations at a global level.
  • Responsible for the long term strategy of the sourcing academy from its conception to the implementation.
  • This is a strategic, leadership role designed for an experienced sourcing professional who thrives in a dynamic, global environment and is committed to delivering measurable business value.
  • Key targets in the role will be OEB sales growth, margin improvement and time to market.

What you’ll bring:

  • Ability to design and implement long-term sourcing strategies that align with business objectives and drive competitive advantage.
  • Expertise in optimizing global sourcing channels to deliver cost savings and value creation across the supply chain.
  • Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and drive cross-functional alignment on sourcing objectives.
  • Expertise in streamlining sourcing operations, reducing inefficiencies, and driving continuous improvement across sourcing processes.
  • Ability to use technology (e.g., e-sourcing tools, ERP systems) to optimize vendor management and global sourcing operations.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, cost structures, and financial metrics in sourcing and procurement.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and driving operational success.
  • Experience managing diverse, global teams across multiple functions and regions.
