Job Summary:
The Sourcing Manager will work as a member of the Strategic Sourcing Team reporting to the Head of Strategic Sourcing to drive Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), Innovation, Strategy and change throughout Central 1.
The Sourcing Manager will initiate and drive cost savings across the organization through development of Category and Sourcing Strategies, securing a constant solid savings pipeline to successfully deliver on sourcing opportunities and drive negotiation and relationship management with suppliers. Additionally, the Sourcing Manager will help to identify and manage initiatives, working with the Head of Strategic Sourcing and the business stakeholders, that will result in organization-wide changes in how money is spent and in achieving best value from suppliers. This includes development and implementation of sourcing strategies ,category strategies and conducting relevant change management activities to ensure that results are anchored in the organization. The Sourcing Manager will enable business stakeholders to perform their work in an increasingly optimized and cost-efficient manner. The successful delivery of these initiatives will increase the value of Finance’s services to the organization.
What you’ll be doing:
- Play a leadership role in driving sourcing change, working closely with the internal stakeholders to understand business context, define sourcing needs and build the portfolio of Preferred providers.
- Strive for value creation and total cost of ownership sourcing approaches across the enterprise, with core tenets of consolidating the supply base and leveraging enterprise-wide volumes to realize savings.
- Carry out bidding to leverage a competitive environment, define negotiations strategy, and drive negotiations and finalize preferred supplier master agreements, as required, in collaboration with our legal team.
- Focus on business partnerships, ensuring a deep collaborative and innovate relationship with internal customers and suppliers.
- Ability to see the big picture and to lead stakeholders through transformation in support of the overall delivery of savings and efficiency outcomes.
- Influence and drive the changes across multiple hierarchy levels.
- Carry out supplier relationship management: analyse risk, set-up risk mitigation plans, and set up continuous improvement programs.
- Ensure sourcing arrangements are fully compliant with process standards, diversity and inclusion requirements, and risk frameworks.
- Maintain awareness of macro-economic factors that directly impact spend
- Define and set-up performance measurements to monitor and improve results.
- Work in a dynamic environment with a focus on being agile and flexible to the growing and changing needs of stakeholders across the organization.
- Demonstrate behaviours aligned with Central 1’s core values of being curious, collaborative, and courageous.
- Partner with multiple groups of internal and external stakeholders up to C-Suite level to successfully drive Total Cost of Ownership through Sourcing and Category Strategies
- Completion of preparatory work to deliver savings based on an operational review of third-party spend.
- Drive implementation, optimization, and documentation of new sourcing processes.
- Have the skills and expertise necessary to build relationships and represent Procurement and Finance in front of stakeholder groups.
- Be adaptable, flexible and willing to pivot to meet the changing needs of the initiative.
- Leadership presence and ability to build credibility at all levels within the organization.
- Collaboration skills with a proven track record of driving enterprise-wide change through team and trust building (Trusted Advisor mentality).
- Ad hoc projects, as required and other duties as assigned
What you’ll have:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in managing complex technology and services supplier relationships within a large organization.
- Proven sourcing skills

- Proven Category and Sourcing Strategy experience
- Experience with Source to Pay technology
- Experience in financial services
- Assists with the creation of a broad, deep, and aggressive agenda of initiatives which, taken together, represent the organization’s program of continuous improvement in all that we do.
- Experience within the areas of contract management and RFx procurement practices, vendor management, and negotiation strategies
- Experience defining a vision and executing it with organizational change management in mind. Experience in influencing and managing change outside one’s own group is imperative.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills to develop and manage relationships across the multiple areas of business.
- Ability to drive and manage change to ensure successful realization of the projected benefits.

Salary: $105,900
The salary represents the job rate determined for the successful candidate who is fully competent in the role. The actual salary will vary depending on market conditions and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
