SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Strong team player with proven leadership skill
  • Strong Knowledge of Engine Repair Cycle & Lease Maintenance Operations
  • Ability to assess business risk and make decisions relative to the operational objectives and targets, multitask and prioritize
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency, customer-first attitude, organizational awareness and behaviors
  • Strong influencing and communication skills
  • Mentor and facilitate relationships between Operations, Programs and Contracts
  • Financial knowledge related to business cases, make vs buy etc
  • Knowledge of CFM56-5B/7B and V2500 platforms’

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS IN QUEBEC :

Intermediate level knowledge of English is necessary for aeronautical personnel to meet regulatory requirements, understand technical procedures and instructions, and document entries regarding work performed on the aeronautical product for customers outside Quebec

Responsibilities:

  • Prime responsibility for strategic sourcing of material associated with specific engine product line (CFM56 or V2500) through implementing best materials management practices
  • Manage the supply chain with a focus on active participation with the customer facing and internal operations teams to provide support and solutions as required
  • Assist in ensuring adherence to the maintenance and leasing requirements while managing multiple interdependencies and business risks related to supply chain.
  • Provide guidance (in a matrix organization) to all internal supply chain teams (procurement, planning, OV, logistics etc) as required
